I look at hundreds of couches and ended up going with this one when it could be delivered in weeks not months. Very pleasantly surprised at what arrived and how it looks. As some other reviewers have noted, it’s firm but I think that should hold up better over the long term. The back of the couch is lower than I expected however the firm cushions give you comfortable support. I was worried the color would be darker than light grey but it is a true light grey. I purchased this sofa in the lattle velvet fabric, it exceeded my expectations. However the low profile height was too low for me. I replaced the legs with 5 inch legs this raised the height to 18 inches. Also I repositioned the throw pillows and altered them from 18 to12 inches. Now they are uniform to the height of the arm. I really like this sofa, it's a really pretty dark emerald green. It looks really nice and fits perfect in the space I placed it. I took off a start because of the assembly of the feet. They are not pre-drilled holes. They are more like staple and a puncture guide. It would have been nice if the holes were pre-drilled so they were all even. Hoping this review will be helpful for others since the Q&A on this page is a little confusing: This is a daybed not a sleeper, so this means there’s nothing to pull out or convert here. BUT you could remove the backrests and the pillows and absolutely put a sheet on it to use it as a flat sleeping surface! The backrests are completely separate pieces from the pillows and nothing is attached so everything is flexible. I will say the Chickerell is definitely on the firmer side so if you’re planning to have guests sleep on it a soft mattress topper would be good. What a great sofa! I do understand what some other reviewers mean when they say the velvet isn't the softest. It's not luxe, but it is durable and overall great quality. The color is rich and it looks expensive. I was debating between this one and the reddish brown, but I don't think you can go wrong with any of the color selections. I've attached the photo but because the lighting wasn't the best the picture doesn't do it justice. I also really like the level of firmness of the sofa. It's firm enough to support your back as you sit or lounge, but also giving enough that you can sink in and get comfortable. The depth is also great - I'm 5'8" and I was able to comfortably stretch out with room to turn over. And I have to give a big shoutout to the delivery team for promptly bringing my sofa on a rainy day with no damage or stains. They hauled the sofa up my brownstone walkup without a complaint. Overall a great experience and a delightful addition to my space. I'll see if I can adjust or add to my review after some time passes to comment on how it holds up. Overall, I say get it..
