Hoping this review will be helpful for others since the Q&A on this page is a little confusing: This is a daybed not a sleeper, so this means there’s nothing to pull out or convert here. BUT you could remove the backrests and the pillows and absolutely put a sheet on it to use it as a flat sleeping surface! The backrests are completely separate pieces from the pillows and nothing is attached so everything is flexible. I will say the Chickerell is definitely on the firmer side so if you’re planning to have guests sleep on it a soft mattress topper would be good. I like the look of this sofa. I like firm sofas but Its a little firmer than I would have liked. I was hoping the fabric would be softer as well. The color was pretty spot on. I like that the seat cushions have velcro to keep them in place. The back pillows are firm enough that I am not constantly fluffing them to maintain the shape.
