Absolutely in love with my new couch! I got the light blue color and it is beautiful -- not so bold of a color that it's a focal point but not your standard gray/tan/brown couch. Really elevates my living room. The velvet is soft, the seat is deep, and the whole thing looks and feels expensive. The couch is long enough for an adult male to lie down all the way, and with the back pillows removed, the couch would actually be a fine place for a guest to sleep! Couch arrived in a box and all we had to do was screw the legs in -- although some of the pre-drilled holes were clearly off, so we had to make our own holes for some. I look at hundreds of couches and ended up going with this one when it could be delivered in weeks not months. Very pleasantly surprised at what arrived and how it looks. As some other reviewers have noted, it’s firm but I think that should hold up better over the long term. The back of the couch is lower than I expected however the firm cushions give you comfortable support. I was worried the color would be darker than light grey but it is a true light grey. Hoping this review will be helpful for others since the Q&A on this page is a little confusing: This is a daybed not a sleeper, so this means there’s nothing to pull out or convert here. BUT you could remove the backrests and the pillows and absolutely put a sheet on it to use it as a flat sleeping surface! The backrests are completely separate pieces from the pillows and nothing is attached so everything is flexible. I will say the Chickerell is definitely on the firmer side so if you’re planning to have guests sleep on it a soft mattress topper would be good. I like the look of this sofa. I like firm sofas but Its a little firmer than I would have liked. I was hoping the fabric would be softer as well. The color was pretty spot on. I like that the seat cushions have velcro to keep them in place. The back pillows are firm enough that I am not constantly fluffing them to maintain the shape.
