This dining table plays with shadow, structure, and materials, creating a sculptural look in your dining room. It's made from a blend of solid and engineered wood, with a rectangular surface set on an X-shaped pedestal base. The base has an angular design, where one leg in a matching oak finish to the table top supports the surface at an angle, while the other in a black finish intersects it. This gives it the illusion that the table is floating, and being partially supported by its shadow. We're all about that high-contrast design. Measuring 79'' wide, this table comfortably seats six.

Durant 84" dining table by Classic Home.

There is a tradeoff between style and stability. You won't be able to sit on this table without it tipping all the way over. Obviously, there's no reason to sit on a table; just setting expectations. Otherwise it's absolutely stable enough for dining and such. The markings on the surface are obviously intentional and meant to evoke an industrial feel. There is a blotchy shine or lamination on the surface that I'm not sure if it should be scrubbed off or ignored (it's not painfully obvious). This is a feature that should have been explained in the Description and highlighted in a photo.. Nigel. Brooklyn, NY. Fri Mar 21 2025

Shape + form. This dining table combines mid-century style with industrial elements, making it a versatile centerpiece for your dining room. The circular surface, crafted from solid and engineered wood, showcases an oak finish with natural grain variations. We love that the design is grounded by a minimalist pedestal base with tambour paneling for subtle visual dimensions and texture. With room for four people, it's perfect for everyday use – pair it with the chairs of your choice (sold separately).

This table is so nice! It’s on the smaller side for a family but would work great in an apartment. I’m using it as my desk and it’s gorgeous. It was super easy to build and it very nice quality! The base is so heavy it does take two people to build part of it. Also it come in 3 packages so it’s not a solid base like I had originally thought, but it feels sturdy and well made.. Autumn. Condon, OR. Thu Dec 08 2022

The instructions were not clear at all to put it together so it took me a minute to figure it out (but also maybe because it was the first time I have ever assembled furniture). But it’s the perfect size for my small apartment and not too heavy and pretty easy to clean! Make sure to barstools (vs. counter stools) as this is pretty high. . Bhavanir. NJ. Sun Jun 21 2020

Plus, since it offers an understated look, it's great for pairing with bold chairs and intriguing centerpieces.

Really beautiful lines, matte finish does not look plastic. Well packaged and easy assembly. My only disappointment is that the top is made up of 2” to 4” strips that don’t really match so the stain makes it looked somewhat striped. Overall very satisfied- would give it a 4.5 rating.. Very sturdy table but I felt deceived by the description. The table definitely looks plasticveneer and not real wood as described. Also scratched with just a finger nail running across it. We are keeping it because it is sturdy and we won’t have it forever. Planning to put additional sealant on to protect from scratching so easily. If you’re looking for a true wood looking table, this isn’t it. I would equate it to laminate flooring vs real wood for appearance.. Anonymous. Wed Jan 07 2026
