Excellent quality- I put it together myself and it went fine. The hardest part was lifting the extremely heavy boxes up the stairs by myself! The headboard weighs a lot but the other parts of the bed I was able to bring up individually to make it easier. Assembly took a half hour or so, bed is very sturdy and most importantly, no squeaking! I went back and forth between getting white boucle or the brown but I like the brown. The exterior of the frame is incredibly high quality, sturdy, and solid with a beautiful finish. My issue with this product was the interior of the frame - the slats and the center rail that supports the middle of the bed. The materials for the interior was very low quality manufactured wood that was splitting and cracked when I received it. Considering these parts are meant to provide the main support of the mattress and weight of its users, I was concerned about how it would hold up. As I was also missing two screws from the hardware kit, I contacted customer support about it and was offered a partial refund and they suggested I replace it myself with lumber from a hardware store. Not the ideal solution, but since I wanted to be able to use the bed asap, I went along with it. Put together, the bed is a quality piece that I'm super proud to have in my new home. I put it together myself over the course of a couple days as I needed to get new materials, as a person of 105lbs and a less than 5 foot stature, but definitely struggled a bit when it came to putting the legs on as they instruct you to build the frame with headboard first... So I would advise having at least two people to work through this one. Overall, I'm happy with it and specifically needed a bed with at least 8" clearance from the floor to fit rolling drawers I had and they fit perfectly!. Kimberly. This is exactly what I was looking for. I wanted an off white platform wingback bed that wouldn’t cover too much of my windows, which is hard to come by. The bed feels very sturdy, it doesn’t creak or make any noises when you get in it. Bonus: so far it’s cat friendly, my cats have tried scratching it and you can’t tell at all (I got the polyester fabric). It probably took us about two hours to build it.
