This is a beautiful stool that is very well made! I was concerned that the wood look 'general' or 'cheap' but it looks artisan and chic as it has wood grains and is solid. Made of hard wood. Nice, simple design. This stool is made for a higher bar, so make sure to pay attention to the dimensions. Sadly, I did not, and this stool is about three inches too high for us.
