Arrived damaged, they send replacement, replacement arrived damaged again, got refunded, so nice customer service, no complains there. But even if it whould not be damaged its not a solid wood top. Its looks ok but quality is not. The top is not perfecrly smooth, you can feel the seams. Also hard to clean the spots. It is very heavy. The overall dimensions of the table are well-thought-out and should work well for seating 6 people comfortably. We purchased the shorter version of this table, so if you're thinking about fitting 8 people at the table, you should definitely consider the longer version. Also, we paid for the delivery team to unpack and assemble the legs for the table, so, unfortunately, I cannot comment on the assembly instructions. This table is gorgeous. I wanted a solid wood table top, not a veneer. It looks black in the photos, but in real life it's very dark with brown undertones in the stain. The effect is gorgeous, but definitely not black up close. I did have an issue with the hardware during assembly: needed to go out and purchase longer screws (4) and additional washers (12). This is the only time I've ever had an issue assembling an AllModern piece. Luckily it was only a $7 trip to the hardware store to fix so I didn't need to get Customer Service involved, but the assembly/hardware for this product needs to be reviewed.
