I absolutely love this sofa. The delivery was excellent - earlier than expected and professional. It is firm, great lumbar support, perfect depth, and just simply gorgeous. My friends who have already come to visit my new apartment gush over how beautiful and expensive it looks. One friend thought it was funny that the back pillows could be used as a velvet "etch-a-sketch" and write our names and silly faces and then erase it with the brush of a hand. Hoping this review will be helpful for others since the Q&A on this page is a little confusing: This is a daybed not a sleeper, so this means there’s nothing to pull out or convert here. BUT you could remove the backrests and the pillows and absolutely put a sheet on it to use it as a flat sleeping surface! The backrests are completely separate pieces from the pillows and nothing is attached so everything is flexible. I will say the Chickerell is definitely on the firmer side so if you’re planning to have guests sleep on it a soft mattress topper would be good. Really wanted to get the Article Sven couch, but it was out of my budget. Aesthetically this looks nearly the same as the Article couch from what I can tell. It looks awesome. But with most things that look awesome and are budget friendly, it’s not very comfortable. The back cushions are nice and squishy, but the bottom cushion is very stiff. The couch is nice (we ordered two). Represented well by the pictures on the website. The materials seem like good quality, and the couches were comfortable without an extended break in time needed. We had a small hiccup where we just noticed a staple sticking out of the back of the couch.
