Stools look terrific, but not sure they will stand the test of time given the assembly. A few small bolts holding them together. Also, worth noting that anyone more than probably 200 pounds would not be able to squeeze into the seat. I’m an average sized 190 lb. athletic build and barely fit. The swivel is not too "loose" which means that the seat stays put when you're getting in and out. The seat swivels with just the right amount of effort and the base does not extend past the seat when turned, so no uncomfortable pokes to the legs. These stools were easy to put together and seem very sturdy. The height worked well for me for our counter-height kitchen island. I did remove the plastic discs that were screwed into the bottom of each leg and replaced them with a soft pad that won't scratch our wood floors. They are not the most comfortable to sit on for long periods of time, but about what I would expect from a stool with this kind of woven seat.
