My item arrived somewhat damaged. The corner was smooshed and there was a screw coming out the bottom drawer. Luckily the screw was loose so it was able to come out. This is a beautiful, sleek and modern, mid century nightstand. But, it can be used anywhere, not only in the bedroom due to it's small size. Currently, it's being used as a plant holder. These are beautiful and well-made nightstands. I appreciate that they are sturdy but docking one star because the drawers are a bit difficult to open and close. The face of the drawers is also much heavier than the rest making it difficult to put them in/out al the way to move and carry the unit. Very heavy, solid piece and it looks great. If I have a criticism, it would be that it looks like it should have two drawers but it only has one, plus a small open shelf over the drawer.
