What a great sofa! I do understand what some other reviewers mean when they say the velvet isn't the softest. It's not luxe, but it is durable and overall great quality. The color is rich and it looks expensive. I was debating between this one and the reddish brown, but I don't think you can go wrong with any of the color selections. I've attached the photo but because the lighting wasn't the best the picture doesn't do it justice. I also really like the level of firmness of the sofa. It's firm enough to support your back as you sit or lounge, but also giving enough that you can sink in and get comfortable. The depth is also great - I'm 5'8" and I was able to comfortably stretch out with room to turn over. And I have to give a big shoutout to the delivery team for promptly bringing my sofa on a rainy day with no damage or stains. They hauled the sofa up my brownstone walkup without a complaint. Overall a great experience and a delightful addition to my space. I'll see if I can adjust or add to my review after some time passes to comment on how it holds up. Overall, I say get it.. I love the modern look of this sofa! A bit lower than I expected but totally my fault for not measuring prior to ordering. I still love it, though. Color is great, texture of the linen is great and I fit perfectly while laying down. It’s comfortable but still holds its shape. Back pillows zipper in, side pillows are not attached if you’re not into the look or want to add your own. Seats 3 comfortably. Now I need a new rug, coffee table and accessories to complete the look and look more modern. My old sofa was a chaise sectional which covered my short curtains... This is a quality sofa with a sleek and elegant look. The open bottom makes it appear less substantial and bulky but it is quite heavy and solidly built. Reinforced joinery make it quite sturdy. The leather is very soft and supple and well conditioned. The seat cushions are quite wide however the back cushions are comparatively shallow relative to many sofas. This isn’t a problem but something to keep in mind if that’s something you’re after. I got a good deal over Presidents Day and couldn’t be happier with my purchase.. Jeff.
