The bed is absolutely beautiful and the assembly was easy enough. Unfortunately, when the boxes arrived, the bag containing all the hardware (screws, nuts, bolts, etc,) was not sealed and the pieces were loose in the box. Luckily we did not see any damage to the wood due to hardware scratching it in transit. However, when the box was opened the hardware piece's rolled out everywhere. I was nervous purchasing as boucle can look really cheap when it isn’t top of the line, but the beds came (2 matching, size full) and they look beyond good. Already getting loads of compliments. Heads up the slats sit high so the mattress doesn’t sit sunken within the box of the frame, so overall the feel of the bed isn’t as low as I expected but they look so darn good I’m not bothered. The bed is beautiful and very well made. It takes at least 2 people to assemble and due to screws not lining up properly (i’ve read about this in other reviews as well) takes a decent chunk of time. Be aware that the frame sits much lower to the ground than it appears in the images, check the measurements. I gave 4 stars because the mattress sits very deep in to the frame, it was difficult to put sheets on. I had to purchase a 4” metal bed riser so that it would sit higher.. Natalie. OH.
