This is exactly what I was looking for. I wanted an off white platform wingback bed that wouldn’t cover too much of my windows, which is hard to come by. The bed feels very sturdy, it doesn’t creak or make any noises when you get in it. Bonus: so far it’s cat friendly, my cats have tried scratching it and you can’t tell at all (I got the polyester fabric). It probably took us about two hours to build it. This platform bed frame blends clean lines with padded upholstery in a variety of colors, for a modern look that’s easy to get comfortable with. Metal bracket legs add understated embellishment, and the panel headboard is there to support you while you read, stream, or scroll.
The Rand Bed arrived in two very heavy boxes and needs to be assembled in the room it's going in. It required more assembly than I expected. Predrilled bed rail screw holes did not line up with the black sheet metal supports making it difficult to assemble. The sheet metal support that runs in the middle of the bed from headboard to foot board is not forgiving, even with the wood & mesh ladder that sits over it to uphold the mattress. The ladder is flimsy and not high quality. Moving the boxes boxes and assembly is a two person job and while it looks good made up, I don't consider it a good quality bed. I wish I had spent more money and got a bed that is easier to assemble. I would not order this bed again or spend the money on a new mattress for it.
