Low Clearance (under 8 In) Beds

This solid wood platform bed brings a minimalist, modern foundation directly into your space. Crafted with a solid wood frame, it features clean lines and tapered legs that elevate the silhouette with mid-century flair. Wooden slats provide reliable support for your mattress without needing a box spring, while central support legs create added stability. The low-profile design keeps the feel open and airy, making it a natural fit for contemporary layouts. Plus, the built-in slat system allows for continuous airflow beneath your mattress to keep your sleeping setup feeling fresh.

The wood looks nice, much nicer than others that I've seen, and I like that the side rails are complete pieces, as opposed to two separate pieces that you put together to run the full length of the sides. I wish the bed had a little bit of a recess where the mattress goes so that it stays in place better rather than being completely flat. Our bed did arrive with a dent in the top of the side rail, but it isn't visible when the bedding is on so decided to live with it rather than trying to have it replaced. Overall, it works great for our toddler, especially for the price.. Devon. Atlanta, GA. Mon Nov 02 2026

This low-profile bed anchors your bedroom in a sleek contemporary style. It's made from solid and engineered wood and features a platform silhouette that extends out from the mattress and is supported by a plinth base. Built-in nightstands are attached to the two sides and provide plenty of space to keep books, magazines, and other bedtime essentials. The headboard is upholstered in faux leather and is filled with foam for an extra cushion behind your head. This bed arrives with a slat kit, so you don't have to use a box spring under your choice of mattress.

Amazing and beautiful bed. Quality and the wood is amazing. It is well constructed. As far as I know this product is identical to Modloft Worth Bed, but comes at a more affordable price point on AllModern. Set up was not difficult at all, but people love to complain about it. If you don't have experience with fasteners, tools and following assembly instructions, then you should probably hire someone else to do it for you instead of attempting it, failing, then claiming it's "too complicated.". The Liza Bed features an upholstered platform frame with a gently curved headboard. Foam padding along the headboard, side rails, and footboard creates a soft, tailored look, while the headboard provides a comfortable backrest for reading. This low-profile platform bed updates your main or guest bedroom with a sleek, streamlined design and bold vertical channel tufting. Foam-filled upholstery wraps the solid and engineered wood frame and headboard for a look that's equally cozy and refined. And we love how the neutral hue blends with a range of styles and color schemes. Best of all, this bed comes with a slat kit, so it's ready to support your mattress (sold separately) – no box spring needed.

The box had been cut open and taped back up; the fabric on the back of the headboard was sliced end to end. We kept it anyway because it would be too hard to return/exchange. Bed is heavy, but relatively easy to assemble. Looks nice, and the color is accurate.. Jennifer. West Lafayette, IN. Fri Oct 23 2026
