This bed is very well constructed and absolutely beautiful. I was very skeptical and feverous about it being too low, it was not! I did use bunkieboards for extra support with the mattress. The only thing I was not happy with was the color. I choose brown which is the darker color. However, what I received was an oil walnut which is lighter than the brown but darker than the caramelized. I decided to keep what I received and customer service was great.
