With a softly rounded rectangular tabletop supported by slab-like legs, this table’s bold + chunky silhouette brings a modern but casual feel to your dining area. It’s built from solid oak, with a wired-brushed finish that adds character and emphasizes its distinctive wood grain. Seats six.
The table is beautiful. It took me a couple of hours to get used to it, as our previous table was dark brown and more uniform color. I love the color of this table, but beware that the wood knots show more due to light color. I suppose they give it additional charm, though I expected to have less knots visible. The legs of the table are very unique and stylish. Our chairs tuck in just nicely on the sides, but they don't tuck in all the way at the head of the table as the legs of chairs bump into the legs of table. It doesn't bother us, but we probably won't keep the chairs at the head sides of table all the time. Also, when you sit on the head of the table, the space for legs is limited. If you push yourself in all the way, you won't be able to spread your legs, but this is not a big deal if you don't sit there often. I was concerned that the table would stain easily, but I tested it immediately upon delivery. The fluid beads up on top of it, so there is definitely a good protective coating on it. Doesn't seem like it will stain easily. But I wouldn't put hot pots directly on it. Overall, we are happy with the table.. Milena. Wed Dec 06 2023
