The chairs are absolutely beautiful and look even better in person. They feel very sturdy and well made, solid, firm, and quite heavy, which gives them a high quality presence. However, they are much harder than expected. While they’re fine for short periods, they’re not very comfortable for sitting over long stretches of time. Because of that, I’m giving them 4 stars instead of 5.. Maria. Cedar Park, TX. Sat Feb 28 2026

Crafted from solid walnut wood, the open frame showcases a striking low back that wraps around to form integrated arms. The padded seat features foam cushioning under faux leather upholstery for a smooth, supportive surface that makes it easy to unwind. It's designed with visible woodgrain for added depth across the natural finish. Plus, the curved silhouette delivers an open, airy presence that fits seamlessly around your table.

These chairs are beautiful. The lines are unique and the chair stands out. The chairs are light weight and seem sturdy; time will only tell. I deducted a star because of two things. One, the seat pad color is bleh. It’s not tan, not cream, kinda taupe but with a hint of yellow in it. That said, it’s still neutral and works. You could recover them easily if it is a turn off but you like the frame. Secondly, three of the nine chairs they sent were damaged (I ordered 6). Two were definitely damaged due to shipping (lots of outer box damage), but one was a joint issue that was a manufacturing defect. Allmodern replaced the damaged ones with zero issue and very quickly.. Brittney Lyn. Roseville, CA. Thu Mar 18 2021

Mixed materials including subtle weathered steel accents create an eclectic focal point for your seating area. Plus, its smooth leather surface requires only a dry cloth for quick everyday dusting.

What great chairs! Great quality; very comfortable; looks great in dining room and very sturdy. The only problem I had was that they were too tall for the table and the arms did not fit underneath. For reference, my dining table is the mango wood “blox” table from cb2. Our solution was to cut and screw a piece of black painted wood the same dimensions as the table legs to slightly raise the table. We put a black wool rug underneath and you can’t even see the additions. Although it still would have looked good if it was visible.. Anonymous. Sun Feb 25 2024
