These chairs are beautiful. The lines are unique and the chair stands out. The chairs are light weight and seem sturdy; time will only tell. I deducted a star because of two things. One, the seat pad color is bleh. It’s not tan, not cream, kinda taupe but with a hint of yellow in it. That said, it’s still neutral and works. You could recover them easily if it is a turn off but you like the frame. Secondly, three of the nine chairs they sent were damaged (I ordered 6). Two were definitely damaged due to shipping (lots of outer box damage), but one was a joint issue that was a manufacturing defect. Chairs are beautiful. Love them. They are a saddle color with some shading so the color looks like it has depth to it instead of looking flat. They’re very sturdy and supportive on the back. I have back issues and find it difficult to sit in uncomfortable chairs. Very impressed by the comfort level. The slim design make them excellent if you have a small space and want to fit more chairs into your dining area. I would absolutely purchase again. Beautiful sturdy chair with excellent wood grain. Leather feels nice as well. I gave this 4 stars because one chair came pretty damaged on one armrest. A 1cm by 2cm chunk has been chipped off the wood in shipping. I will have to return and replace this chair. A headache i was risking by ordering online, but at 425chair, I expected the packaging to be much more advanced. I have not contacted the company yet, but will update with how the replacement process goes. Update I contacted the company and they promptly sent a replacement chair for the damaged one. All the chairs except one came in with a broken arm.. attached pictures.. each chair came in a box with filler.. I love my chairs! They arrived earlier than expected and the color is perfect, although slightly darker than the photo online (I’m sure lighting and the color of the rug used in staging make a difference). Initially, I ordered different chairs but hadn’t considered the stain of the table when I bought them. The stain on the table didn’t really go with the wood on the chairs so I needed to return them. I called Customer Service and the return process was so easy. Also, the customer service representative connected me with someone who sent me some suggestions on chairs that would give me the look I wanted. I appreciated being able to talk to a live person when I needed to and I was very impressed with the high level of customer support I received.
