Assembled with 2 people in less about 20 minutes. (Considering I've spent 6 to 8 hours on assembling wobbly bed frame, I'd say that as close to no hassle as it gets. Package delivered to my apartment door (the secured building had me worried but they came through!). Feels very sturdy. Both the "doors" slide perfectly and easily hide my modem, Xbox, and other unsightly electronics (I cleaned out the open sides of the shelves for the picture but left everything behind the doors to emphasize how well it hides what "needs" to be hidden, i.e., my Xbox, wireless modem, headset, controllers, and remotes are all in the TV stand in this picture) while leaving the opposite side free to display my significant others more "appropriate decorations." Finish looks nice for a non-solid wood item. Also, feels extremely sturdy/durable so far. One dang good-looking console. The Blu Dot Dang 1 Door / 3 Drawer Console is a lovely way to display your TV and hide everything else. The large steel door has a perforated top that allows you to control any devices within by remote, while the three drawers make quick work of organizing all your various media. Brass handles and leveling feet add a bit of bling.

We got this to go with our mid-century inspired living room. I was a little skeptical how well something like this would match our custom real walnut coffee table in terms of quality however, the end result is very striking. The material is MDF with walnut-style veneer. The MDF is very dense and heavy, and seems good quality. Similarly, the veneer is very good quality. Having assembled a lot of flat-packed furniture in my time, I was surprised at how precise everything was cut and how it lined up, including the mitered corners. The quality of the included hardware (hingers, clickable drawer slides) was also very good. The cabinet hinges are adjustable to ensure the large door lines up flushlevel like it should. The drawer hardware also has leveling mechanisms build into the slides. The only exception to this was one of the metal drawer slides didnt retract as much as the others, resulting in the front face not looking perfectly flush (which is very noticeable on a clean-line piece like this). I was able to fix this by drilling a couple 14 offset screw holes for that drawer slide in the MDF, and it all lines up like it should now. Also of note is that the smaller shelves and cabinet area do not have holes cut for cords, so we had to drill our own. Overall, a very nice piece of modern furniture.. Brook.
