These stools are perfect for my kitchen and family. They are a bit smaller than what I anticipated, but that was alright since they are mainly for my children. Normal sized adults also find them comfortable. They easily wipe clean which is a huge deal since they are upholstered. Stools look terrific, but not sure they will stand the test of time given the assembly. A few small bolts holding them together. Also, worth noting that anyone more than probably 200 pounds would not be able to squeeze into the seat. I’m an average sized 190 lb. athletic build and barely fit. These stools are perfect! Straight lines, wonderfully comfy seat, easy to wipe clean, light weight, bar for foot rest. I’ve ordered around 15 barstools til I found these, which worked perfectly for me. I have an island where I place barstools on both sides. So I wanted stools with a back, but also wanted to be able to push the stool under the lip of table so I could still do food prep on side of island by the kitchen counters. These worked!! I ordered 3 colors. The charcoal , honey, and the darker brown (forgot the name). The honey was just a tad too orange when placed with my wooden island. But loved that color, and would have been great with a white Island/bar/countertop. My island uses 4 stools on each side. And I thought black would actually look the best. So as a DIY I purchased Angelus leather preparer & then Angelus black acrylic leather paint and did a tester on 2 stools! What’s $125 for a set of 2 stools if they didn’t work. But it worked perfectly! I’m undecided at this time but most likely plan on painting them all black. Gorgeous stools. Hard to tell in the photos but I purchased the dark brown cushions. They're very comfortale and fit perfectly underneath my counter height island. A bit finicky to assemble - just be sure to not fully tighten any of the screws until all pieces (pre-assembled seat w/back,+foot rest+two leg pairs) are all loosely assembled. Don't even fully finger tighten anything. Once everything is attached but still wiggly then you can tighten everything down. Arrived in great condition. Easy to install, one screw hole definitely required a little more muscle. The upholstery is of fine quality, clean lines no issues here. But I bought the stool for the legs, the frame is just beautiful and looks great at my counter. At some point I'll reupholster to give the chairs a bit more pizzazz. Overall I love the chair.
