Such a statement piece and perfect height and length for my 84 inch sofa. This is a wood table and has some natural markings, but nothing that detracts from the beauty. The legs have studs in the bottom to keep from scraping the floor. The bottom is also well made, and the table has some weight to it. A quality piece that is constructed of real wood. That being said, real wood inherently requires maintenance to keep it looking good and preserve it for years (occasional application of wood soap, preventive care such as coasters and avoiding high humidity or hot environments, etc). If maintenance is not your thing, then look for a veneer or even MDF piece for less, and expect to replace it within a shorter lifespan.
