These stools are perfect! Straight lines, wonderfully comfy seat, easy to wipe clean, light weight, bar for foot rest. I’ve ordered around 15 barstools til I found these, which worked perfectly for me. I have an island where I place barstools on both sides. So I wanted stools with a back, but also wanted to be able to push the stool under the lip of table so I could still do food prep on side of island by the kitchen counters. These worked!! I ordered 3 colors. The charcoal , honey, and the darker brown (forgot the name). The honey was just a tad too orange when placed with my wooden island. But loved that color, and would have been great with a white Island/bar/countertop. My island uses 4 stools on each side. And I thought black would actually look the best. So as a DIY I purchased Angelus leather preparer & then Angelus black acrylic leather paint and did a tester on 2 stools! What’s $125 for a set of 2 stools if they didn’t work. But it worked perfectly! I’m undecided at this time but most likely plan on painting them all black. Arrived in great condition. Easy to install, one screw hole definitely required a little more muscle. The upholstery is of fine quality, clean lines no issues here. But I bought the stool for the legs, the frame is just beautiful and looks great at my counter. At some point I'll reupholster to give the chairs a bit more pizzazz. Overall I love the chair.
