These shelves are genuinely beautiful and well made. Unfortunately, the shelves I received were made of particle board, not solid wood, and were growing black and white mold. All three of the sets of shelves. Obviously these shelves aren't safe. The mold has taken hold inside the particle board and there is no way to save these. It's a giant shame. The biggest downside of the process is that they wouldn't pickup the shelves. I had to hire a person to pickup the shelves and dispose of them. That cost me out of pocket which I'm pretty upset about. I'm leaving 3 stars because of the excellent support I received. The returns process was easy and the customer service was actually helpful..
