Definitely NOT “acorn” colored. This is a dark cherry or mahogany red stained piece of furniture. I am extremely disappointed in how it looked in the photos and how NOT light brown it is. I think the manufacturer either sent me the wrong color or they significantly changed the stain without communicating it to All Modern. That being said, it is great quality, solid, and easy to put together. I won’t be returning because of the cost of the rerun since there was no damage due to shipping. The Redford desk looks great and almost an exact match to the pictures. The quality is very good, it is very heavy and well constructed, and fit and finish appears to be great. The drawers are good but are not full depth (they are 13 inches deep verses the desk depth of 28 inches).
