Although I really like the look and feel of this chair, there is one thing I don’t like. The cushion is very long so when you get up from the chair, if you don’t press down on the arms the back of the chair lifts up. This concerns me with guest that may sit on it and not know this and fall. I hesitated to get this since I wanted the grey fabric but it was sold out. I’m glad I got the leather to match the miller leather sofa. I’m still debating if I will return it based on the potential injury hazard.. Anonymous. New Jersey. Sat Apr 05 2025

A thoroughly modern take on retro Scandinavian style, this Lyydia Armchair gives a touch of mid-century charm to today’s contemporary furnishings. Lyydia finely carved natural teak frame beautifully offsets the woven Danish rope seat, making it a designer favorite.

I’ve had the chairs in black for a couple weeks. They’re is attractive, strongly built and the seat is well woven and seems resilient. The stain and top coat on the wood is very well done as well. They are not soft chairs, however, and do grow a bit uncomfortable after some time sitting, but the bent backrest is well formed and promotes a comfortably reclined posture without the wood part digging into one’s back. I would definitely recommend the chair.. Rory. Irving, TX. Tue Dec 13 2022

The chairs are very nice, however, one box was delivered completely ripped open. One chair leg was sticking out of the box. The leg is bent backwards and the chair frame separated from the front corner of the chair due to the leg bending backwards. The other box was somewhat collapsed but no visible damage. FedEx is scheduled to pick the chairs up for return since I need a pair and one is unusable. Chairs are out of stock from the manufacturer. Such a shame especially since they are very expensive. I was very skeptical about buying a piece of furniture online, since both the comfort and the color were incredibly important to me. But after searching high and low for something that fit our space in the right color, that wouldn’t take forever to come, I came across this chair and decided to give it a try. I was totally prepared to return it if I didn’t like the color or the way it felt. But it turned out to be perfect to meet our needs! The brown color looks very much like the photo, the fabric feels nice, and the chair is comfortable to sit in. We liked it so much that we immediately placed an order for a second chair, so we now have two of them for our living room and they look great together! The first chair arrived in about 6 days (it was slightly delayed) and the second chair arrived in 3 days—way better than the 4 MONTHS we were being told at other stores for other chairs we considered. The chairs took about 30 minutes to assemble and my husband said it was pretty easy to do. Very happy with this purchase!. Michele. Austin. Mon Sep 28 2026
