Its thick tabletop is constructed of 2 panels of solid wood connected with butterfly joints. These joints are a type of inlay that serve both structural and decorative purposes. Adding to the natural beauty of this rectangular dining room table are live edges on the long sides of the 2 tabletop panels. A small space where the panels are joined highlight the curves of the wood, while the curves on the exterior edges add dimension. This table is pretty great although it stains very easily, almost like there is no sealer on it. The other negative is we kept having problems with Wayfair sending us the right one. This was for a cabin so each time it was a wrong order, it was another drive that was wasted. Wayfair really didn't do much to compensate.
