Oh right, the backless design lets it pull up flush underneath your surfaces, so you get to save on square footage. This bar stool is checking all the boxes. It has a 27.1'' seat height, so it's ideal for bar-height surfaces.

High quality, durable, love these. Wish they had a 25” option, because at 27.1” they are just a little too high, but I still like them.. Rebecca. Darien, CT. Thu Feb 27 2020

Arriving as a 2-piece set, this counter stool draws on mid-century caning techniques and Scandi minimalism. It has a solid wood frame with four straight legs and stretchers on all four sides for extra stability and support. The seat is made from woven strands of wicker rattan for that airy look that we love. A backless design lets this stool pull up flush under your counter or table, helping save on floor space. Felt pads on the feet help protect your floors from scratches and scuffs.

These stools were easy to put together and seem very sturdy. The height worked well for me for our counter-height kitchen island. I did remove the plastic discs that were screwed into the bottom of each leg and replaced them with a soft pad that won't scratch our wood floors. They are not the most comfortable to sit on for long periods of time, but about what I would expect from a stool with this kind of woven seat. I also like that they are not as deep as they are wide, so they tuck under the counter overhang a bit better than my prior stools.. Molly. San Mateo, CA. Tue Apr 09 2024

The Elio Counter Stool brings warm modern style to the kitchen or island with its genuine leather upholstered round seat, solid beech wood frame, and clean backless silhouette. A circular footrest adds support and reinforces the sculptural shape, while the compact profile tucks neatly beneath a counter for an easy, streamlined look. Fully assembled and designed to feel both refined and comfortable, it adds natural warmth and modern simplicity to everyday seating.

I’m very happy with this stool. It’s the perfect height for taking a little break at my standing desk. It’s attractive, sturdy and comfortable. The seat looks hand stitched and is a tan marbled leather, the wood is stained light beige stain. Both give it a very high end look. I would definitely recommend this piece.. Sally. New Albany, IN. Crafted with a deep connection to Okinawa, Japan, the birthplace of these designs, the counter stool is inspired by cherished memories of the past with craftsman-style joinery detailing.

Did the open box option and I feel like I got such a beautiful piece for under 100!!! It’s heavier than I thought but it’s the perfect height to help me in and out of my nyc fire escape. Kelsey Renee. New York, NY. Tue Aug 26 2025
