Stools look terrific, but not sure they will stand the test of time given the assembly. A few small bolts holding them together. Purchased for a client's kitchen and it is exactly as pictured. Comfortable to sit in, with a firm upholstery seat. The swivel is not too "loose" which means that the seat stays put when you're getting in and out. The seat swivels with just the right amount of effort and the base does not extend past the seat when turned, so no uncomfortable pokes to the legs. These stools were easy to put together and seem very sturdy. The height worked well for me for our counter-height kitchen island. I did remove the plastic discs that were screwed into the bottom of each leg and replaced them with a soft pad that won't scratch our wood floors. They are not the most comfortable to sit on for long periods of time, but about what I would expect from a stool with this kind of woven seat. Got the green velvet and they were beautiful, maybe even more so in person than online. I had some small parts missing but not an issue, I improvised , though for how much these cost, you wouldn’t expect that. These bar stools are perfect! The quality of the fabric, wood, and craftsmanship is impeccable. I highly recommend these - especially in a transitional design plan. I looked for bar stools for months and was so happy when I found these.
