Shapely curves, a gentle recline, and just-right cushions invite the lost art of unwinding. A sculptural powder-coated steel base sets up the striking profile.

Ultra comfortable but detail is not perfect. Wrinkly and unfinished stitches along the back pillow. Overall happy for the purpose I bought. Lounging is very comfortable in my mid century sunken living room with this piece. Price point is also right. Wish that the stitches were perfect ... Thats why only 4 stars.. Mawar. Ardsley, NY. These chairs are absolutely beautiful. Very, very well made. They are oversized in the best sense. You can cozy up in them without feeling as if they are too big. I would recommend ordering a fabric sample from Bernhardt if you aren’t 100 certain about the fabric you are choosing. Our chairs were a bit lighterbrighter blue than I was anticipating (which is understandable since all computer monitors differ in regards to color). The swivel works perfectly, as well. We purchased these for a sitting area in a bedroom at our lake house. I wanted them to swivel so you could easily see the view of the lake or the the tv inside the room. They beautifully meet both needs. The only downside was the length of time it took to receive them - 5 months - but I can see why. These are custom chairs and beautifully crafted. Absolutely recommend to anyone looking for a beautiful, well-made chair.. Anonymous. Marietta, GA. Sun Aug 15 2021

I picked this chair over various other faux leather chairs due to the natural color I found similar to the other genuine leather chairs I liked. We love how the internal web suspension and foam-filled cushions provide just the right amount of support for an afternoon of reading. It also features stain-resistant properties to help it stand up to accidental spills.

The leather is beautiful and the chair is well made. My only reservation is that the frame, while perfectly solid, looks flimsy in ration to the cushions, making the chair appear rather top heavy.. James. New York, NY. Sat Nov 15 2025

Performance fabrics are specially created to withstand spills, stains, high traffic, and wear, ensuring long-term comfort and unmatched durability.

The pictures do not do this justice. The chair has a gorgeous curved back that would look great positioned in a room where you have to see the back. I was very hesitant to order without seeing. The fabric is not as white or bright. It's a mix of cream a green gray. I was a bit surprised, but I've come to like it better this way. The chair is very heavy and well built. The back cushion is super well stuffed, heavy, and does not sag. It holds it's shape. These turned out to be a little more upscale than I thought they would be so make sure your room can stand up to it!. Stacie. Seattle, WA. Thu Jul 16 2026

A thoroughly modern take on retro Scandinavian style, this Lyydia armchair gives a touch of mid-century charm to today’s contemporary furnishings. Lyydia’s finely carved teak frame beautifully offsets the woven Danish rope seat, making it a designer favorite.

I’ve had the chairs in black for a couple weeks. They’re is attractive, strongly built and the seat is well woven and seems resilient. The stain and top coat on the wood is very well done as well. They are not soft chairs, however, and do grow a bit uncomfortable after some time sitting, but the bent backrest is well formed and promotes a comfortably reclined posture without the wood part digging into one’s back. I would definitely recommend the chair.. Rory. Irving, TX. Mon Dec 12 2022
