The spacious table top offers plenty of space for a laptop, lamp, and daily essentials. Plus, a built-in crossbar stretcher provides stability while serving as a footrest.

Definitely NOT “acorn” colored. This is a dark cherry or mahogany red stained piece of furniture. I am extremely disappointed in how it looked in the photos and how NOT light brown it is. I think the manufacturer either sent me the wrong color or they significantly changed the stain without communicating it to All Modern. That being said, it is great quality, solid, and easy to put together. I won’t be returning because of the cost of the rerun since there was no damage due to shipping. Customer service was able to give me a credit, thankfully, but so far I’m getting a good impression as a first time customer.. Anonymous. US. Tue Feb 21 2023

Easy assembly and great quality for the price. Thomas. Newburyport, MA. Sun Apr 12 2026

Update your home office with this charming and contemporary style 2 drawer writing desk. The two sleek front drawers offer a clean minimalist look that fits seamlessly into your home office decor

The Redford desk looks great and almost an exact match to the pictures. The quality is very good, it is very heavy and well constructed, and fit and finish appears to be great. The drawers are good but are not full depth (they are 13 inches deep verses the desk depth of 28 inches). The drawers glide easily but it takes a fairly hard push to close them the last 1/4 inch or so.. John. Hopkinton, MA. Sat May 03 2025

Solid and what I’d hoped for. A couple small bits to pick: it came in three different packages over three different days; instructions and hardware don’t really match, and finally three legs and the associated. Outs worked fine but the bolts and holes on the 4th leg were misaligned and only three bolts fit.. Matthew. Austin, TX. Wed Jul 22 2026

You'll be chanting, "I think I can" when it comes to all the projects on your plate with this shiny puppy in the office. The desk features a warm wood veneer with solid wood legs and powder-coated steel accents.

Absolutely love this desk; it's sleek, modern, and packs a punch for space thanks to the upper shelf. The materials look high quality and overall, it's very sturdy. It is on the more expensive side, but you pay for what you get -- and what you'll get is something that is a piece of furniture you'll have for a while. What's so great? - Upper shelf is great if you use multiple monitors - Very functional & practical -- Might be unique to us, but the space under the shelf is absolutely perfect to fit a midi keyboard - Great size at 42" - it's not too small, but not overwhelmingly big so you can fit it in a dual purpose room like 'bedroom/office'. We designed the Four Leg Standing Desk to be a beautiful piece of furniture first, and a work of technology second. Traditional standing desks use dual motors that struggle to support a four-leg architecture, leading to a market dominated by T-shaped legs or bulky four-leg alternatives. With the rise of remote work, it became clear we needed a solution for people who want the ergonomic benefits of a standing desk without the distinctive look of one. After three years of research and testing, we combined four powerful and discreet motors, a minimal steel frame, advanced sit-stand controls, and a sophisticated plywood edge desktop to create a strikingly elegant and ergonomic desk that feels at home in any room. The Four Leg Standing Desk is a blend of classic form and contemporary function that suits any space, offered at a remarkably accessible price.

Desk looks great, works well, is solid enough even at the tallest height. If I were taller than 6' I would probably want a taller desk but for me at 6' it's great. The control panel flickers below 30". Support has been very responsive but unable to actually fix the problem. They sent a new panel, then a whole new base. I rebuilt the desk from scratch with all new parts: legs, control box, control panel, and every cable, and the new desk has the same problem. Since it works I'm not going to return the whole thing, but its annoying that I built the entire desk twice and it's still flickering.. S. US. Fri Dec 19 2025

Sleek + versatile. This modern and functional desk instantly creates a streamlined workspace. It's crafted from engineered wood with a walnut veneer with a 47'' desktop that provides a practical solution for your laptop, notebooks, petite plant, and a caffeinated beverage to keep you going. Plus, wire management keeps your cords neat and tidy, making this desk nearly as confident and smart as you are.
