Wood Shelf TV Stands

An architectural piece anchored in everyday living. Our TV stand brings mid-century modern rhythm to the room with a warm wood facade, slatted cabinet doors + a long, low profile. Four cabinets keep media tucked away, while slim legs add lift.

Overall, I loved the stand. Esthetically, looks elegant, holds up a couple of solid speakers, has two shelves within each cabinet. Our cinema set up is on a carpet area; even though the unit came in practically fully assembled, the only parts were not attached were the bottom legs that worked out for us as we've decided to not attach them so that they sit flush on the carpet and we don't have to deal with the dust underneath. If you're still interested in more details... We got an extra long one (essentially two standard ones connected, combined together). The reason for my 4 out of 5 is for two reasons: delivery was poor (3 damaged corners, 1 cabinet door doesn't open fully, and even after I called directly to address those concerns, was offered a discount on that purchase to be refunded to me, submitted all pictures, I have yet to get that refund. So now I have to invest more time tomorrow following up with the customer service.. Mila. Beverly Hills, CA. Fri Oct 16 2026

I recently discovered AllModern had a physical store near me. One of the items I was in love with online was the Leander console. It just oozes classy MCM vibes. The store actually did not have it on display the day I went, but seeing the quality, I felt confident in ordering the Leander. It was delivered a few days later and I couldn’t be more pleased. It is elegant and beautiful, but also solidly built. The drawers open smoothly, the doors align perfectly and there is nary a flaw. Everything I purchased from AllModern seems to have come triple wrapped, and it surprised me that a company would take that much care in the shipping of their products. Which is rather sad, but also speaks to AllModern’s customer-focused approach. The delivery guys were great and set it up for us with the free white glove service. So happy with my purchase!. After seeing this during a home tour in Palm Springs during midcentury week, my wife had to have it I lucked out and bought the last one! Pros The look of the entire sideboard is beautiful and I gave in to the gold trim as I’ not a fan of gold, but this is a nice a matte color. The size, we downgraded from a massive 75” china cabinet that had tons of storage and took up almost an entire wall, this having the three drawers and shelves was a plus. The customer service response after reporting issues. The item shipped assembled! Cons I don’t think what we paid for was worth the purchase after I received and inspected the unit I was not that impressed with the craftsmanship. The handles have white overspray, who spray colors with handles on They should be sprayed before they screw then on! The handles were chipped I requested two new handles to be sent, but one of the replacements was worse than the original see pictures. The bottom shelf of the sideboard has chunks of debris that weren’t cleaned out (pictured) and it was painted over and they dried with the paint, if I attempt to remove I’ll chip chunks off, but good thing they are towards the back and won’t be visible once we close doors. If I could give 3.5 stars I would. Don’t get me wrong I love the look and what it will do for our newly renovated house when it comes to decor, but the craftsmanship of the piece and what I was charged is what I’m not happy with, plus the issue with the replacement part, how do you send me one that’s worse! I guess this is what happens when things are now put together in Vietnam and not China due to import fees. I don’t want to discourage you from buying, but I want to prepare you for what could happen and hope you have a different experience.. Omar. CA. Fri Mar 20 2020

very sturdy stand; not easy to assemble. Karolina. Westport, CT. Tue Oct 07 2025

This media console keeps things simple – in the best way. Crafted with a sturdy wooden frame, its clean-lined silhouette is defined by vertical paneled doors, which adds depth and quiet texture while camouflaging two storage cabinets. Behind the scenes, interior shelving keeps media components neatly tucked away, so your living room feels calm, collected, and effortlessly pulled together. The wide top easily supports a flat-screen TV and sound bar, maintaining a streamlined presence without unnecessary bulk.

Nice console with good design aesthetically. First console arrived with doors not aligned well and a replacement order was placed which was appreciated. Took ~2 months for the delivery of replacement and it arrived nicely for the most part. The white glove chipped a part of one of the doors and AllModern provided a partial refund. A couple things I would complain about is that the magnetic attachments for the doors do not align as well as it should be. Especially for a $1500 piece. It also doesn’t have any holes in the back of the console to allow cables to go through. Otherwise, it is a beautiful piece.. Dianne. Phoenix, AZ. Fri Mar 07 2025
