These Upholstered Armchairs from AllModern are pretty nice overall. They assemble very easily and the Navy Blue upholstery is a nice color and texture, soft like a chenille. They have a nice wide seating area and are comfortable to sit in. The picture on the site shows the front measurement all the way across 18.3” but that’s is just the inside seating area, the front of the chair measures 25”. We love this armchair pulled up to a desk, dining table, or as a modern accent in your living room. The seat is 19" tall, making it a little taller than most standard chairs. To assemble this armchair, all you have to do is attach the base.

These chairs are beautiful. The lines are unique and the chair stands out. The chairs are light weight and seem sturdy; time will only tell. I deducted a star because of two things. One, the seat pad color is bleh. It’s not tan, not cream, kinda taupe but with a hint of yellow in it. That said, it’s still neutral and works. You could recover them easily if it is a turn off but you like the frame. Secondly, three of the nine chairs they sent were damaged (I ordered 6). Two were definitely damaged due to shipping (lots of outer box damage), but one was a joint issue that was a manufacturing defect. I paired these chairs with the Fenway 47.5" Ped Dining Table and omg does it look amazing!!! I struggled with finding the perfect dining chair, so I took and chance on these and I am not disappointed at all! Took about 40 minutes to build the first chair (alone), after it was finished, I sat in it and it is extremely comfortable for a dining chair! What great chairs! Great quality; very comfortable; looks great in dining room and very sturdy. The only problem I had was that they were too tall for the table and the arms did not fit underneath. For reference, my dining table is the mango wood “blox” table from cb2. Our solution was to cut and screw a piece of black painted wood the same dimensions as the table legs to slightly raise the table.
