This is a well built dresser. Beautiful grain and stain color, and even better yet- it came fully assembled! However, I have never ran to buy replacement hardware faster. The original hardware it came with was weird little pegs which are hard to grip! The drawers are soft close, but because of that there’s some resistance when pulling, and our hands would slip easily with the original hardware. The dresser is beautiful but I am only giving 4 stars because of the drawers. They are soft close because you have to push them closed, they do no close after a gentle tap. Zero build required. I had a drawer get knocked out of the track during shipping but it was an easy fix. No damage. I didn’t want to mess it up further so I contacted supported and they helped me troubleshoot the issue. If I couldn’t fix it, they would have sent someone out to help/replace. The only reason for docking a star is the drawers. Due to anti-tipping requirements with newly manufactured dressers these drawers only open about 5” out of the overall 17” drawer depth which can be a bit challenging at times putting clothes away.. Overall the experience was good. The shipping time was excellent. The product was well packaged but still came with some minor scuffs and would be nice if a touch up pen was included. The way they installed the handles for shipping left marks on the drawer face that are bigger then the handles. I'm also wondering if the legs are expected to seat all the way into the grooves on the bottom. The bolts are already tight; I can tighten more, but im afraid the wood will split.. Anonymous. Happy with my purchase! This is a very sturdy piece. I was pleasantly surprised by the richness and depth of the wood stain/coloring, something I had worried about as the online photos had a lot of variance. The black and brass details are subtle and very well done. There were a few edges where the stain was thin, but I was able to fix those immediately with a furniture marker. Gorgeous dresser! It came fully assembled, just had to screw in the feet. Its is solid wood and super heavy. The hardware is the perfect brass color, not like a fake gold. There is a lot of color variation in the wood grain. The description doesnt say what type of wood but it looks like maybe poplar or mango wood.
