Stiles Leaning / Ladder Desk

A beautiful desk that took two hours to assemble. The top cabinet came with some damage.

This is complicated. The desk is very nice and more substantial than I expected. But getting here was horrendous! It took four shipments to finally get enough non-broken pieces to assemble the desk. With that, it took my assembler sorting through broken pieces to harvest non-broken mechanic parts to replace the broken mechanic parts in the non-broken pieces. I made many calls to the lovely and helpful customer service people at All Modern. It seems the weak link in this picture is FedX. I have in my living room a beautiful desk and Etagere and a pile of broken pieces from the four separate shipments. The waste of materials exploded my carbon footprint and decreased from your bottom line. The condition of the shipments was ridiculous. In the last shipment, it was obvious that the box came complete apart. Many pieces were broken and one of the pieces we needed for replacement was missing. Thankfully, the assembly person was motivated and everything worked out. But I almost gave up. Keep your customer service people and Tyagi the assembly person. Give them raises. Fire FedX immediately. Charge a little more to cover a higher level of shipping. I am well satisfied with the end product but it took a month of phone calls, shipments and visits from the assembler.

The computer fits perfect. Lots of storage

I was all ready to buy this on a competitor website - for TWICE as much. Arrived within a week of ordering, and assembly was super simple - took me an hour. It really improved the organization of my kitchen 'office' and the style is perfect. Super sturdy but not overpowering.
