Wayfair is so hit or miss. I have the sideboard from this collection and it’s gorgeous and had no issues on delivery. White glove service was amazing. This item doesn’t come white glove. It’s huge. My building gave me a hand truck to get it to my apartment. Once there it was packaged so tightly it wouldn’t come out of the box. After 20 minutes, I simply cut the sides of the box. Because it was so insanely packaged I thought it wouldn’t be damaged. It’s damaged. The bottom drawer doesn’t sit flush with the top drawer. The bottom drawer only opens 1 inch. The top drawer has a sharp splintery side. Because the box is destroyed I have nothing to return it in. Even if a new item is sent, the overkill packaging will cause me to have to destroy another box and there’s no guarantee the replacement won’t be defective. Now I have to wait for a repair man because I can’t repackage the item with the millions of packaging pieces that came with it for fed ex to retrieve it. I’ll update this review after the repair guy comes. He should call me in 1-3 calendar days. Customer service swears they’ll repair people can work miracles. Update it’ll be 3-4 weeks before a repair person. Ordered a replacement which came a week later with a defective bottom drawer which doesn’t close by 12 an inch. I got a 100 refund for keeping it as I didn’t want to deal with the hassle of another return.
