I had an extremely disappointing experience with AllModern, and I feel compelled to share it.
The order took nearly a month to arrive, with no updates or communication about the delay. We purchased this item on 11/19, intending to use it for Thanksgiving, but it didn’t arrive until 12/3—far too late to be of any use.
When the product finally arrived, it was a complete letdown. The legs of the dining chairs were covered in heavy rust, which is unacceptable for a product that’s supposed to be new. It seems like these chairs sat in storage for years before being shipped.
The build quality was also disappointing, especially considering the $450 price tag. I expected much better craftsmanship for this price point.
Adding to the frustration, customer service was no help. Responses took an average of five minutes per message, and I kept getting the same repetitive questions, as though I were talking to a bot. It felt like they were deliberately slow, making the process unnecessarily exhausting.
To make matters worse, I’m now concerned they’ll charge me a $50 return fee, which they’ve tried to do before with a previous rug order.
Overall, the product quality, delivery experience, and customer service have all been terrible. I would strongly advise others to be cautious when shopping with AllModern. This experience has been a huge disappointment, and I’ll think twice before ordering from them again.
