Heavy and durable. It’s small, but it was exactly the size I needed to sit next to my low profile sling chair. It’s a true black.

The price was right, but it arrived cracked in two pieces. Some wood glue and it was an easy fix. The finish was quite glossy - not what is shown in the website photos. Some matte black spray paint did the trick.

it looks so good against the neutrals in my living room and brings the perfect counterpoint to the low, modern furniture. my only disappointment was that the ridges on the top surface seemed too deep and cheapened the look in my estimation. I turned the table upside down and am very pleased with the smooth surface - problem solved! SK NYC

Very attractive and solid table.

I bought two of these stools and they are perfect for my Grandkids' bunk room! The kids even sit on them when they're gaming. One of them is next to my egg chair to hold my coffee cup when I'm ready to read them a story. Heavy enough to not tip over. The wood is so rustic and the matte finish is gorgeous!!!
