Mako Swivel Office Chair

I recently received the All Modern Mako Task Chair from Wayfair. This chair is to replace an old one that I have in my home office that has lost some of its functionality primarily the adjustable height mechanism. My new purchase was substantially more expensive than the other, but I am hoping that overall, it will last longer therefore being a better value in the long run. The chair is a neutral taupe color and has very clean lines. The description claims that it is commercial grade and upon receipt I believe that is true. The chair has a steel frame and aluminum base, and the caster wheels are very smooth making it super easy to move between my two desks. The real difference is the seat itself. It is of good quality with a very supportive feel, especially in the seat back. The seat portion is very firm so if you want something cushy this is not the chair for you. I find it very comfortable. There is nothing flimsy about this chair and I believe it would be good in home or office settings. Delivery was quick and professional as always with my Wayfair purchases. The chair is advertised as requiring assembly, but the instructions consisted of 4 sketches which was plenty of information considering how easy it was. I literally had it together in under 5 minutes. I will probably be buying another in the near future.

Brilliantly designed chair. Super Simple - Super Easy to Assemble - Super Likable! The chair is of higher grade standard and is designed for long-term use. Wayfair did well with the design of this chair. For serious professionals that need a reliably built chair that will last awhile.

Item is larger than expected. It is heavy and VERY sturdy. Almost too sturdy- uncomfortable because the back is quite stiff with no “give”. The upholstery is very firm as if sitting on a solid surface. This chair is NOT comfortable for long day use. Do not recommend for people who plan to sit all day working from home. Fortunately for me- it’s for infrequent use in my guest room.

Solid construction and elegant. Beautiful. I think it’s going to last forever. No tools required for assembly, surprisingly substantial.
