Can't believe some reviews said it is comfortable because it is not. The top of the back is so much farther back than the back of the seat that if you lean back to make contact you are semi-reclining. Basically, you have to use the chair like it is a backless stool. The leather seat is minimally padded so it still is pretty hard, but the deal breaker is the back. Interesting design, but not functional.

I put off buying these chairs for several months because of the cost. I spent lots of time looking at other chairs. but, these were my favorite. They are in my dining room now and I love them. they look fabulous.
