Fitz 24" Counter Stool (Set of 2)

Enter at your own risk. They look great, just like the website. We like them a lot ... now that they're finally assembled. They feel a tiny bit "flimsy" so we will need to treat them more gently than our old stools. The fabric seat cover does not come off so we're sitting ducks if anything ever spills on them that won't come off. The worst part was having to use a DRILL to make pilot holes in the seat cover and chair, and then to drill in the screws. A DRILL! Nothing in the website description mentioned needing a drill. Why the company could not make 8 more holes to make it EASY on us to assemble (and make it faster) is beyond me! My husband is now looking at chairs too so I guess the assembly of the counter height stools wasn't all that bad! ;)

Had high hopes for these but despite following the assembly instructions, they’re still quite wobbly. Not built for long term use.

The style, comfort and sturdiness of the stool is great! There was a very small scratch on one stool and a minor imperfection in the wood on an inside leg, which looked like it had been filled. Not drastic enough to return. My biggest problem was attaching the seat to the stool with the small L brackets. There were no pilot holes and it was very difficult to screw the screws into the frame and seat bottom tightly. Also the stickers that identify each piece for assembly are difficult to remove without leaving behind a sticky visible residue. For the 2nd stool assembly we will be drilling small pilot holes for the seat attachment!

Loved these when they were new, but at seven months one of the backs is starting to delaminate, which is a little disappointing since that it's now out of warranty. I guess a little wood glue and clamping will do the trick.

Amazing counter stool and great price. We will continue to shop at AllModern.

For the price, these are fantastic. Time consuming to put together especially when a few of the parts were marked wrong. But still worth it )

Cannot beat the price of these stools, nor the look. Nice mid century vibe and easy to assemble as well.

Chairs look just as described. Putting them together is pretty straightforward and they are very sturdy. I’m planning to order 2 more.
