This is a beautiful, sturdy chest, with a matte or satin finish. The detail on the front of the drawers does cost some space and the drawers are not as deep as I expected for a dresser this size. The drawers are generous in width and height, so they hold plenty. It elevates the look of my soft modern bedroom.

My husband has claimed it for himself. Fortunately we also got the dresser and is also spectacular. Love how far the drawers pull out and how smoothly they move. Delivery was a snap- the guys were strong enough to wrangle the heavy pieces.

While this dresser is beautiful and looks great in my room, the drawers are seriously messed up. For one, they do not close all the way unless you give them a very firm push on both sides of the drawer at the same time. It seems like every time I walk by I notice a drawer that is not closed all the way. The drawers also have a center cutout for pulling them open, but you really need both hands to keep them from opening crooked. The drawer slides are also too grippy and stiff and make a scraping or grinding sound when opening and closing. There also seems to be some kind of safety mechanism the keeps the drawers from opening at the same time, because there’s a thumping noise behind them when as you open and close them. Finally, I have one drawer that opens unevenly. It opens about 3/4-1 inch more on one side than the other. Given how much I paid for this dresser, I’m really disappointed. I expected better quality from a "Wayfair specialty brand".
