The sideboard was packaged very well and notwithstanding a few dented corners, the furniture arrived undamaged. I mentioned this because very often ordering furniture online, we’ve been disappointed to find that it was damaged in shipping. This piece is made of real wood, uses high quality fasteners and feels solid when built. Getting the doors to line up took a while but we got it to where it’s acceptable. It provides a nice amount of extra storage space. We pleasantly surprised to see how much room it has inside.. Maddy. Ashland, OR. Wed Jul 08 2026

I ordered a sideboard from Allmodern. First delivery the item was damaged and I did not accept delivery. The wood was cracked and peeling away on the bottom of the unit in a very visible area. There was alot of back and forth about whether another unit was available. I finally received a replacement. It too was damaged with some small gouges in the wood of the doors and around the edges. The wood was chipped along the bottom edge above the leg. There were a few red streaks like sharpie marker on the side of the unit. One door was not attached but the delivery men were able to fix it. There was a lot of rearranging of existing furniture to make room for the new piece which had to be put back while waiting for the replacement. Didn’t want to go through it a third time so I accepted the second piece at a 20% discount. Still had to pay over $1400 for damaged goods. I guess it’s not realistic to think that a new piece of furniture should arrive in good condition. I do like the piece of furniture but would expect undamaged goods and much less hassle. The delivery men were very professional and helpful.. Colette. Carlisle, PA. Tue Jun 23 2026
