Dakota Wood Bed

The white glove delivery relieved a lot of work of having to unwrap and build the bed. Kudos to the awesome delivery guys 10/10. The bed feels solid and classes up my room. Solid wooden slats too. The bed looked the way I was projecting it in my room before buying it, so I’m happy about that. Always have to wait to see how it wears. I’m satisfied with the feel and appearance of the piece.

Really like the bed Exactly as it looks in the pictures. Came in four separate boxes with very good packing. The build guide could've been a bit more helpful but everything is in it.

Easy to assemble but wish there were more substantial metal fixtures at the corners to keep the bed “square” when it’s being moved. The head of the bed is very heavy, but that gives the bed a lot of sturdiness that’s missing from a lot of platform style beds.

The bed itself is gorgeous. Delivery and assembly were a nightmare. Delivery occurred as scheduled but the boxes did not include hardware or one of the three center legs. We immediately contacted Wayfair and asked them to expedite shipping of the missing parts. We were told that that would be impossible, even though we informed them that we had a limited time to complete the project before we left. Regarding the leg, one rep. said it would be added to the hardware order, the next one said that the part was not on the reorder list and they could not send it. She did provide me with a $254.68 credit and suggested I purchase a substitute at a local store. She also told me who the vendor was. I contacted the vendor and ordered the leg. The hardware was scheduled to arrive after our departure so we took the assembly instructions to a Seattle hardware store and purchased all the items we needed. We put the bed together ourselves without too much difficulty, although we did have to drill holes in the frame for each end of each slat (there were no pilot holes drilled in the frame). Now that it is finished we are happy with it but the project consumed much of the time we had planned to devote to other activities.

Very nice finish on the wood all the way down to the slats and other inside parts. Very heavy once assembled. I would buy it again.

Beautiful and exactly as pictured - I was concerned the wood color wouldn't be the same as it appears online but it is. Excellent metal connectors and alignment, solid wood and sturdy construction, Ignore the mattress size in the picture - still waiting for the new mattress.

Quality piece, beautiful wood. Easy to put together, two people make it easier to line the sides up.
