Channing Dining Table

This table is solid. Legs are a little tricky to align during assembly but once complete, look great.

I have always had a good experience and loved the wide variety of modern furniture available at All Modern and the convenience of having it delivered to my doorstep. But I feel compelled to warn others about this dining table. From the moment it arrived, I knew it was going to be a problem—the delivery box had several holes and looked like it had been through a war zone. Sure enough, when I opened it, the table was covered in dents, scratches, and chips. There are even splinters coming off the edges, making it unsafe to touch. To make matters worse, the metal attachments meant to secure the legs don’t align properly, so the legs don’t fit snugly. As a result, the entire table wobbles, which defeats the purpose of having a dining table in the first place. On top of that, the wooden legs don’t even match the color of the tabletop—they look like they belong to a completely different piece of furniture. This was a huge disappointment and not worth the money at all. Avoid this product if you want something that’s actually functional and presentable.

This is a very beautiful table in person, but the listing misrepresents what it looks like in real life. The color of the oak is much warmer in person, and has more knots in it, which is not ideal. Also, it’s a VERY narrow table. The dimensions on the listing don’t make sense and only take into account the size with the legs, but not the actual width of where the chairs are placed.

Change the name Channing black is confusing when there is a natural option

Nicely made with good reinforcing underneath. Was easily put together. Nice clean design.

Colour is horrible. Don’t waste your money, and the table does not fit 8 people. The measurements are not accurate.
