I was looking for a solid wood coffee table that had bottom shelving. The plan was to fill it with books and I did! It's a coffee table bookshelf - LOL! I had an amazing experience with All Modern (not so much with their sister company Wayfair). I will rearrange the books some but the plan is to keep this thing filled with books and drink coasters; this is my reading living room. :) You can buy the stain finish online to refinish it every year or so. I would guess that I have about 200 books on here. Way better than a wall shelf! LOVE.

Heavy, well-made, and beautiful. The walnut finish is perfectly matte with a little sheen. Cleaver design for storage underneath. It’s a great piece from Blu dot.

The coffee table is absolutely beautiful—just as pictured! The walnut color is rich and elegant, and the craftsmanship is top-notch. It’s well-made and a perfect addition to my space. However, the ordering experience was frustrating. I placed my order on 9/18/24, and AllModern initially stated I would receive it by 11/22, but the delivery kept getting pushed back. It ultimately took 4 months to arrive. Customer service gave conflicting reasons—one saying it was a made-to-order item, another saying it was back-ordered. While the long wait was frustrating, I have to say the table itself is stunning and worth it if you’re willing to be patient!

Well designed and constructed. Easy to assemble. Looks rich and substantial. If the large bottom piece were a bit smaller than the top, it would prevent bumping the corners and eventually damaging them.
