Absolutely love this desk; it's sleek, modern, and packs a punch for space thanks to the upper shelf. The materials look high quality and overall, it's very sturdy. It is on the more expensive side, but you pay for what you get -- and what you'll get is something that is a piece of furniture you'll have for a while. What's so great? - Upper shelf is great if you use multiple monitors - Very functional & practical -- Might be unique to us, but the space under the shelf is absolutely perfect to fit a midi keyboard - Great size at 42" - it's not too small, but not overwhelmingly big so you can fit it in a dual purpose room like 'bedroom/office'

Love the design, build is really solid, but... the color of the wood is totally different from the pictures - it's a much cooler, grayer tone than I was expecting, and really doesn't go with my room. Disappointing.

We needed a small desk for our office lobby which could be used by clients to sign documents. We did not want anything large. This one is perfect. Pros: Not much assembly needed. Surface is easy to clean.

Bought this desk in gray for the guestroom that had very tight space. It fits in nicely with the modern architecture of our home, and complements both the modern and the more tactile traditional types of furniture in that room. However, the packaging was subpar for a Blue Dot product. The box was full of 12 thick styrofoam pads, in which the corners of the furniture parts dug deep holes during shipping, covering the entire room in electrostatic pellets upon opening. It was as if it snowed in the room. Took a few turns with a vacuum cleaner to get the tiny pellets off the nooks of the furniture and from all over the room. Because of that, assembly took a few hours, instead of 30min. We ended up with 2 XL size garbage bags of styrofoam which is hard to dispose in an environmentally conscious way. Even IKEA does a better job of saving resources and eco-friendly packaging. Product is made in China. Blue Dot should put an effort into paying attention to ecofriendly recyclable packaging.
