These chairs are STUNNING! The wood is stained in this gorgeous matte black, and the build quality is what you would expect from Blu Dot. I love the look of the chairs! BUT, I’m on my third order of getting replacements because the backrest of the chair that connects to the legs are delivered with a crack splitting off the joint where the screws attach. This is worrisome to me because for an expensive chair, it seems that there is consistent fault in design.

It’s a very uncomfortable chair. And the way it is constructed, I wouldn’t be surprised if there were durability issues. I think I may have made a big mistake. Luckily it was open box. And the price was much less than the original listing. On the positive, it is nice to look at.
