A solid and functional piece of furniture, but less attractive than I would have hoped. The staggered intervals of the cross-bars in the sides looks kind of clunky rather than elegant, and the finish looks (and feels) more like plastic than wood, but perhaps the trade-off is that it will be durable. In any case, I’m using it where it will not often be seen and I expect it will hold books and other stuff effectively.
