Linea Standard Bookcase

I ordered this bookcase in January. It came on January 31, a Saturday but only two boxes were there out of 4 and one of those had a badly damaged base unit in it. I called All Modern and another bookcase was sent. It arrived toward the end of February. It was extremely heavy so we waited a week until we could get help to put it together. The two gentlemen putting the huge bookcase together were very impressed with the construction, the perfect measurements of the holes for screws and other parts, and we love how this piece of furniture looks in our living room. We appreciate that All Modern responded to their mistake with the first shipment, that they realized the problem and rectified it. I had been looking for a more modern piece to replace a family heirloom hutch. This is the perfect replacement.

I ordered a book case with white glove delivery and assembly. It was delivered as promised but it was not assembled. It was through Wayfair and the said the people were not trained to assemble. I had to use Angi to get it sssembled! This will be another delay and requirement to be home. I ordered on Nov 22 which should have been in plenty of time to correct the situation and have angi scheduled to assemble this. On top of that I had to persist with the customer service rep to connect me with their angi rep to get it booked. Very disappointed. Not doing business with Wayfair again, additionally I was not informed this went through Wayfair.

Another top quality product from BDI and Wayfair. Every step from ordering to delivery was first class. Great communication. This is. It an inexpensive piece of furniture but it is something that will last for decades. Assembly was not easy for for one person it took me a day and a half… assembly from Wayfair was not available.

Bookcase is fantastic, however, be aware if you pick to have something delivered and set up by Wayfair, they will not set anything up that will take “over 30 minutes” or anything that says “storage or compartment”. The bookshelf itself is AMAZING! Great quality and beautiful!
