Definitely NOT “acorn” colored. This is a dark cherry or mahogany red stained piece of furniture. I am extremely disappointed in how it looked in the photos and how NOT light brown it is. I think the manufacturer either sent me the wrong color or they significantly changed the stain without communicating it to All Modern. That being said, it is great quality, solid, and easy to put together. I won’t be returning because of the cost of the rerun since there was no damage due to shipping. Customer service was able to give me a credit, thankfully, but so far I’m getting a good impression as a first time customer.
